Hey guys,
Yaaay!!!! It's a new year once again. I know everyone is excited about the new as we should. I really am. Got a great start into the new year and I'm positive it'd end well.
I know those that make new year resolutions have made them, just hope you'd get to stick to them( lol, I know it might seem difficult).  Well I just wanted to wish you all of God's best this year.
Oh and I forgot to add that those that have the new year resolutions shouldn't allow anyone discourage them by telling them they are unachievable goals. I believe it makes you have certain standards and that by the end of the year when you look back at those resolutions, even if it's not totally achieved, at least you'd know you tried.
Anyways, I expect everyone to  make sure that this year is a glorious one. Just try abiding by just four basic things and you definitely would enjoy your year:

  1. Enjoy your relationship with God. Do not, under any circumstance allow people's opinion of God deter your good relationship with Him. Neither should you compare your relationship with God with those around you. You have to choose the best way to communicate with Him as that would make you enjoy the relationship  much better.
  2. Make reasonable plans for the year. You know, it's funny how people do not have plans for their lives. Yeah, yeah, I get the 'live one day at a time' thing, but you don't need to take it so literally that you just keep existing without having definite plans. I know we've all heard the phrase " he who fails to plan, plans to fail", so whether voluntarily or not you're still planning. Wouldn't it then be wiser to opt for the first option. Set some goals that can be achieved so at least by the end of the year, you would have done something positive.
  3. Enjoy life. You should take a little time to smell the roses. Say something nice to someone, forgive easily, give out when you can. Once in a while have fun with your friends and family. Don't be so money-conscious that you don't take note of those around you. A little compliment here and there would make people happy, and even you.
  4. Set standards for yourself. Ask yourself the question of who you want to be, and start to see yourself in that light. When you do, people around you would follow suit. The first person to respect you is you. If you do not live by the standards that you want, then don't expect other people to give you the respect that comes with it. You have to make people see who you are. A person with standards, no matter how little, would be regarded in such high esteem that people would wonder why.
Oh and I'm blabbing again. I only meant to wish you guys HAPPY NEW YEAR, but oh well. I guess I needed this just as much as some of you might. Have fun in this new year guys.

                                                                                                                                   Mz_Ola.
