Happy Thanksgiving everyone,

I hope everybody's mouth is getting ready to savor the taste of their turkeys. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Usually, people go round the table to say what they are thankful for and share this moment with their loved ones. Well, since I love my readers, I want to share what I am thankful for.

- I am absolutely thankful for God. I kept thinking over and over about how my life could have been if God had not beautifully introduced Himself to me. He is the reason that I have hope for the next day. Without God, living would have been just a mere existence. If I count the number of times that I have been unfaithful despite God's unwavering faithfulness, I would be an ingrate if I'm not thankful for that. I have been welcomed into a beautiful kingdom. Romans 10:9-10
- I am thankful for my family. I know for sure that God never makes a mistake, which is why there has never been a moment of regret for the kind of family I was born into. I have the best parents, the best siblings, best nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. They have been a constant source of motivation for me all the days of my life. When I think about my family, I know for sure that God's word is true. Jeremiah 1:5.
- I am thankful for friends. People say I can be really friendly, and I know that for sure. However, I also know that I have just a few numbers of people who I call friends. This is because it takes me a while to be able to open up to others despite how much I play with people. I am thankful for those people that God has divinely selected to be counted as part of my friends. My actions may not always show this, but I am very grateful for these few people. Proverbs 13:20, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
- I am thankful for laughter.
I recently saw a movie where someone said it is easy to get a sad person to fall, but very difficult to get someone that laughs to fall because they never wear their emotions on their face. That was very interesting to me. The people in this movie who always laughed had the worst challenges, but despite that, they laughed through it all. It actually became very difficult for their enemies to be able to defeat them because they were just always so happy. Imagine trying to get someone to fall, and you see with your own eyes that the person has fallen. Instead of that person to be crying because of the fall, they now end up laughing, how would you feel? Well, that's how things should be. Wipe away the victory of your enemies by smiling in the face of difficult circumstances. I am thankful that I am able to laugh in spite of whatever might be going on around me. I was looking through some of my very old pictures and laughing. Every one of those moments in those pictures, there was no indication that I could definitely know what was going to happen in the next phase, but I laughed through it all. When I placed them side by side, they seemed like regular throwback pictures, but they were all reminders of the various hurdles that I have passed through. Which is why I can laugh without worrying about my future because I know that there is only one person present through the various phases and He's got my back. Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 17:22, Proverbs 31:25, Genesis 21:6.
Oh wow, I had better just stop here before I write 10 long pages about the things I am thankful for. How could I forget this- I am thankful for my readers. Thanks to everyone who reads and comments on this blog. Thank you so much for cheering me on.
Love,
